Hello HCMA families!
What a hot and humid start of the week we have had! It's definitely spring now and nearing the end of the year!

I can't believe we have less than three weeks left of school! With my Pre- Kindergarten kids, this week has been dedicated to formal assessments--the same one we did in the beginning of the year! It measures cognitive skills and knowledge of colors, shapes, upper case and lower case letters, letter sounds, number recognition, one to one correspondence skills, and name writing skills. It is absolutely amazing what one school year can do for a child and I am so thrilled to see so much progress from the kids. They should be very proud of themselves! I know I am!
