A wonderful time of the year

It's the most wonderful time of the year!  Look at these hard-working children.  Things that were once difficult are becoming second nature.  Look at the balance and concentration needed in the first picture.  The child has to stack the blocks in order from 1 to 10.  The child must be able to identify their numbers and have extreme concentration when stacking the blocks.  I challenge you to stack all 10 blocks in the last row!

Children were doing addition problems, playing the piano (learning to play jingle bells), drawing pictures and writing labels, using fine motor skills to lace beads, strengthening their hand grip with tweezer work, pin punching and decorating galore, practicing beginning sounds and letter identification, cutting, gluing, and playing outside!

It is a wonderful time to be with these children!  Happy Week to All!
