Green Frog, Green Frog!

Is this a green frog?

While at the Dam on Friday, the children were able to explore in the frog pond and one was lucky enough to find this handsome frog for us to look more closely at.  After a little research here at school, we think this could be a green frog!

Back at school it has been all things life cycles!  We've been learning about the life cycle of a frog with our very own tadpoles and reading stories about eggs and chickens.  One of our students is hatching chicks at home and another has their own tadpole nursery!  What wonderful home and school connections!
