Making Snow!

If Mother Nature will not give us snow, we will make it ourselves!

We have had several different snowflake art works out over the last few weeks.  This one is a crayon resist work where the children use white crayon to draw the snowflake and then paint over the snowflake with watercolor.  The children always love watching the magic as the snowflake peaks out from under the watercolor.

This child just finished using visual discrimination cards to build this beautiful snowflake.  The children really enjoyed using the cards and building the snowflakes, but they also like using the template to design their own snowflake.
