Working Hard!

The children have settled into a nice work pattern since the craziness of Halloween.  They get a lot done each morning and are learning so much!  We keep track of how many days we have been in school and yesterday marked 52!  I tell the children almost daily, that I am amazed at how much they have learned in 50 days!

We have enjoyed a nice stretch of fine, late autumn, weather. However, yesterday brought showers to afternoon recess and I think we are in for another damp Thursday!  It is becoming a bit of a joke because almost every Thursday that we have gone to the library, it has rained!

Below are a few pictures of some of the different work the children have been doing.

Building hand and fine motor strength by using tweezers to remove kernels of Indian Corn.

Making turkey invitations.

These two pictures show a child working on her First Thanksgiving lap book.  We have the final page to do.  Look for them to come home next week.
