Thank you for investigating Heart Centered Multi-Age for your child.    The program at Heart Centered Multi-Age consist of an enriched academic curriculum strong in the areas of self – expression and communication (literacy), mathematics, science, and social studies.  An equal priority is also placed on children’s inner, emotional and social development.

Meet The Teachers

Jennifer MacDonald received her BS in Education with a Special Education certificate and a BA in History from Keene State College.  During the last nine years Jennifer has taught in various public school settings.  Her experience has confirmed her beliefs that each child can and will learn at the developmentally appropriate times.  She understands the importance of nurturing the whole child as they employ all of their senses in learning through thematic and interdisciplinary studies. 

Jennifer is also the mother of an inquisitive daughter.  Jennifer enjoys scrapbooking family memories, camping, hiking and soaking in the sun on the coast of Maine!


Meghan Kaiser graduated from Plymouth State University with a BS in Psychology.  While at PSU she met her startlingly devoted husband, Ron. After graduation Meghan’s internship led to a full time position as a Child Developmental Counselor at The Hunter School in Rumney, NH, a school that specializes in a nature based approach to learning. Ron and Meghan started their family 5 year ago when their loving son William arrived.  She has stayed home learning from William for the majority of 5 years.  Ron, William and Meghan explore the world together as much as possible.  When Meghan isn’t camping with the family or snuggling up watching a movie with them you’ll find her hopelessly hunting for a local yard sale.

Kasia Beznoska was born and raised in New Hampshire. She graduated from Northeastern University in 2009 with a B.A. in Psychology. She continued her education in Early Childhood Education, and later taught as an Assistant Teacher at Red Oak Montessori Preschool. Kasia became a Certified ChildLight Yoga Teacher in 2010, and is now the owner of Growing With Yoga, teaching yoga to children ages 18 months through 16 years old. She is also the director of a non-profit organization called LKPY (loving-kindness peaceful youth). Kasia has taught yoga and mindfulness classes, workshops and camps to children in NH, MA, and VT. 

Jenne Walker graduated from North Country Community College in 1999 with an Associate's of Science in Wilderness Recreation Leadership. After graduation she started working for the USDA Forest Service on the White Mountain National Forest in many seasonal roles including Wilderness Ranger, Visitor Interpretive Services, and Youth Conservation Coordinator over a span of eight years. While working for the Forest Service, Jenne finished her Bachelors of Science degree in Environmental Studies and Conservation Education.

Since 2008, Jenne has worked for the Squam Lakes Association as their Director of Education, creating a variety of educational programs for youth and adults spanning watershed and environmental related topics. Jenne lives on the Walker Farm in Alexandria, NH with her husband and two children. As an avid outdoors person, Jenne believes in the careful use of nature and passing on to her children and those around her, a desire to understand and live in harmony with the land.

Nature Preschool Board

Krystal Alpers -  
Krystal is the Director of the Franklin Department of Parks and Recreation and a dedicated parent that has an HCMA alumni and a child currently attending. She strongly supports a strong educational foundation, family engagement, and has a passion for outdoor recreational activities.


Dorcas Gordon - Dorcas is a local attorney and apart from her genuine interest in ensuring that quality educational and recreational opportunities exist in our community, Dorcas's connections to HCMA include her niece, Rosalyn, who is a former student, and and her son, Henry, who will be attending HCMA in the Fall.

Jennifer MacDonald - In 2011 Jennifer opened Heart Centered Multi-Age an independent school for children ages 3 to 8 in Bristol, NH. Jennifer has led the school from its inception through a move into a larger space in 2014. Heart Centered Multi-Age has served over 50 Newfound families since its inception.


Deanna Pellegrino - Deanna is a Registered Nurse, who has practiced in emergency room, trauma, and neonatal ICU in cities including Dallas,TX, Harlem and Brooklyn, NY. While in New York she took courses to become a metal-smith and began making jewelry. Returning to NH she opened a boutique selling artisan jewelry. Today she is an active supporter and involved parent at HCMA.


Jenne Walker - Jenne Walker grew up in a family that enjoyed and cared for the land and the natural world. She started her early work in the natural resource field with the Student Conservation Association and the Mass. Audubon Society. Jenne completed an Associate of Science Degree in Wilderness Recreation Leadership and holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Studies and Conservation Education. She spent over eight years working with the Forest Service on the White Mountain National Forest in a variety of seasonal roles including Wilderness Ranger, Youth Conservation Corps Coordinator and Visitor Information Services. Arts and crafts are also a passion of Jenne's, where many times she will make something from nothing and enjoys wandering fine arts museums.
